Dr. Lighthart joined the VOC in 2007 and serves as a staff orthopaedic surgeon, with a focus on hip and knee replacement and arthroscopy. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive joint replacements and revision surgery.
He received a B.S. in Biology at Allegheny College, in Meadville, Pennsylvania and then an M.D. from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at Rush University, in Chicago. Drew is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the Vermont Orthopaedic Society.
