Water
therapy can be very beneficial for arthritis. Water can provide warmth
and support as you do not have to be weight bearing (buoyancy). This
can make exercising the joints involved by arthritis easier.
Being
in warm water allows the muscles to relax , which can then make it easier
to do the exercises and perform daily activities.
Exercising
in water can be very helpful and enjoyable for individuals with arthritis.
Family can also be active in an exercise program with their loved one
as well as enjoyment.
